Today at work

It is Monday morning and I had to open for work..ughh! I hate opening shifts, ders so much more work to do lol..and I'm so tired, because I didn't get much sleep and someone was private calling me 5 times around 3 or 4 a.m in the morning!! I was soo irritated and annoyed, I really have no clue who it is...normally, if someone's calling you private several times you would kind of have a hint who dat person is, but for my situation..I have no idea...

Anyways I wanted to right a blog about my very first customer for the day...he sat all by himself and he was an old asian man...so I thought to myself..."aww man!..he's going to be a fob and I will get shitty tips" (it's just that automatic server stereotyping, we all do it)...When I approached him, he was a very friendly old man, and he did know how to speak english properly, so I was wrong...and as I was serving him I did some small talks, because he was by himself (and it will increase my tip) lol!...Then he really started to get into his personal life and he told me how his whole head was smashed open, and I gave him that eww..disgusting look, and I asked what!? are you kidding me!? what happened!?

He said he got into a car accident, he was in a coma for 3 whole weeks, he is blind in one eye because they cut the optic nerve, and he said what I see with his face right now is plastic surgery!! I couldn't believe it, why would this man tell me all of this and it is Monday morning for Christ's sakes, this is way too much to handle especially for my tired self, He told me he likes to share his story to people especially the youths to make them realize life is very special, it is not something to take advantage of and be taken for granted, and as he was saying these things, I wanted to cry...He was so close to death, yet God gave him another chance to live...

You never know when it is your turn to go, that's why you should live your life like it's your last...

I am madly inlove with...MYSELF

This is another one of my self-actualization and reflection blog...I'm writing this blog because of two reasons: I realized something about myself, and I would like to inspire others...the title said I am madly inlove with myself, to you guys it might seem and come off like "oh she's conceited", or "she is way into herself," blah, blah, blah...but no..it's nothing like that at all.

Well...in the past..I've always been the type of person who puts other people before my own self, I care too much about what others think of me or what they will think of me, that's why I always do things to please them...my thinking behind these actions is because I want to make them happy and I'm also trying to avoid problems or drama...even though it hurts me and it doesn't benefit me as much-I just put others first...

As years go by and I continue to learn more and more about life...I just don't think being too nice and too kind will get you anywhere..because some people out there "take kindness as a weakness" and will walk all over you...and even though I care so much about others and would want to make them happy-I can't live my life like that forever...I love myself, and if you don't love yourself..it is impossible to love someone else...If you don't have that self-love and that self realization first, then you can't really be a good girlfriend, wife, friend, mother, and person.

So yes :D I am madly inlove with myself because it opens me to be able to love others...as the words from Whitney Houston's song "The Greatest love of all is learning to love yourself"

Humber Photoshoot

Today was an interesting day...I woke up feeling sick with fever and cold...but I had to go to my school Humber College to model for a photoshoot and the pictures will appear on the Humber website, publications and advertising. This is my second photoshoot to be ever published for the public. Apparently they told us out of 300 applicants only 40 were chosen..hooray for me! lol..so I had to go to school with no make up on..ughhh I've never done that in my life..I normally don't go outside my house without any makeup on, and especially going to school? lol..I ended up wearing sun glasses though...when I got to the shoot other students were already getting their pictures taken, there were about 7 staffs working behind the scenes, there was kraft service but too bad I wasn't that hungry...I got my make up done by a Make up artist named Alicia, she was going for a more natural look for the students so it can bring out our features...I had to first record an interview on video at a separate room, it was all dark, and there were only spotlights...it was almost like an intervension lol the interview was fun, I was a little nervous at first, stuttered a few times, ang giggled a lot but I got more comfortable towards the end...they just asked us basic questions about why humber, career goals, etc. After recording the video I did my photo shoot at a white backdrop...my prop was a mac book pro..and I just smiled my life away lol...hope everything went well..cant wait to see how the pictures turned out :D

Sherry's Birthday at Music Nightclub

All the crazy shit I did tonight those will be the best memories
I just wanna let it go for the night that would be the best therapy for me

Last night my girls and I went to Music Nightclub to celebrate Sherry's 23rd birthday...I've never been to that club before, but I heard great things about it. The club is located at Lakeshore, near the exhibition place...when we got there the line up was was long...ughh I hate waiting...but you wait in a red carpet line, and there are staff, and securites working at the front and it seems very organized than any other clubs...My first impression of the club was that it was so beautiful and elegant, and HUGE!...there are alot of seating areas like booths for people that ordered bottles...and in the middle of the club theres a fountain..pretty =)...there were also 4 go go dancers in the club (hot)...and a lot of girls dressed in a red corsettes to serve boottle service...who ever runs that club has great taste (thumbs up)...the club was so packed and the crowd is more of an older crowd, soo they mostly played house music thruout the night and me and my girl sheila were sooo gonee...we just kept dancing to the music non-stop...that's all I could pretty much remember...here our some pics I took when I was still "OK" lol

My unexpected new phone

Yes soo...yesterday I went to Square One mall to go to the bank and to buy a few things, and I just so happen to remember that my phone is still at the Wireless wave booth under repairs! I wrote a blog about this awhile back saying how my samsung jack is broken and it needed to be fixed...and it's almost been 2 months and I still havent gotten a call hmmm...so i went to the store and the man said that they were not able to fix my phone because it was too broken :S..i don't think it was that broken, everything was good but it just wasn't charging...but if there's no hope theres no hope...he said I could pick any phone I want, and all of a sudden my eyes lit up :D I always wanted an Iphone but he said that I have to pay $250..it's not bad but I didn't want to cough up $250 out of nowhere when it wasn't even my plan to buy anyphones yesterday...so i got my next choice of phone which is a blackberry :D...I got the Blackberry Curve 8520...I'm really happy with it, its all black, its new, its the perfect size, its sexy, its all that with a bag of chips :D...I had the very old blackberry with the trackpad on the side before my samsung jack, never thought i would go back to becoming a blackberry user again..but I'm happy with my decision...I'll get the Iphone as my next phone..and goodbye samsung jack! we had some good times throughout the whole 2 years..
