You Are Special

The other night I happen to serve this man, he was dining for one. In my mind, I was like okay..another loner that I have to talk to, because most of the time whenever I get people who dine by themselves, I feel like it's I don't wanna say "job" but that the word I could think of right now, but yeah..I always feel like I HAVE TO TALK TO THEM. In several occasions, they would be the one to initiate the conversations , and sometimes I get loners who don't want to be disturbed or talked to and I get it so I back off lol.

This man the other night was weird, like there was definitely something off about him. He just kept talking and talking and talking some more...he even asked me to take pictures of him by himself pretending he is on his phone! like WTF!? One of the things he told me that really touched me and I could remember it word for word was "You are special, you are unique, when you're gone in this world, there will never be another one like you! There might be people that looks like you, have similarities like you, but they will never be you. Everyone is unique is their own way and that makes you special, you may not be special to me, but YOU ARE SPECIAL." And then I got it, I really, truly am special, and so are you, God made us all special so don't ever let anyone tell you differently.

Birthday Wish List

My birthday is in a month away and I just wanted to list the things I wanted for my birthday so it can give my friends and family ideas of what to get me :)

1.)Flipcam - I've always wanted one, I wanna record more videos of any shenanigans that's happening when Im out with people. This is really convenient, I can just take it out of my purse and record a video..just what I need...
***Sorry guys one of my friends said they're already getting me this :D
2.)Juicy Couture/Victoria Secret PINK (Hoodie Sweater and Pants) - Whenever I want to dress down with sweats on, I'll just throw this on and still be a diva lol. Preferably pink colour and size small.
3.)Clothes or Shoes - I can never get enough shoes and clothes :D size small for shirts, pants 26, and shoes size 9.
4.)Star Wars Movie DVD's Episodes 1 to 6 - I love Star Wars so much, and yes I'm such a nerd. I want to collect all of the movies.
5.)Yorkdale or Square One Gift Cards - If you guys cant think of anything to get me, you can get me gift cards to my favourite malls :)
6.)Digital Picture Frames - I've always wanted one, I think it's cool that pictures change all the time. It would go perfect in my room and whoever gets me this will for sure be in one of the pictures in this frame lol.
7.)Perfumes - I love Eau De Parfum soo much...I collect perfumes, I can never get enough of it. Smelling good for me is always a must.
8)Stuff Animals - Yes i still collect stuff animals lol
9)Make up - Cant get enough of make up
10)Basicaly anything girly and fancy that would suit my persona!!! lol


I really can't think of anything else, I got most of the things I need and want..well there's always things that I want every time, but I always end up getting it myself lol.

The Royal Wedding

Yesterday was the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton and I actually didnt watch the whole thing, but I saw the highlights of the event. I watched the part with the Queen and the Duke coming into Westminster Abby, the vows of Prince William and Kate, the balcony scene of the Royal Family and of course the kiss. This Royal Wedding is such a big deal because one, it's the first Royal Wedding I was alive for, the last one with Princess Diana was in 1981 and I wasn't even born yet. For me, it really touched my heart in a lot of different ways and I was really drawn to it. I guess it's because it brings me back to my childhood, back when Prince William was only a boy, then to a teenager, and now he's actually getting married :(, where has the time gone? And when I watched the wedding it was like a fairytale that came true. I loved Disney movies growing up as a child especially Cinderella, and Kate just reminded me of Cinderella and William as the Prince. It's amazing to me how the British Monarchy is still going with tradition from many centuries ago with the Queens, Dukes, Prince, and Princesses. And I look forward to the children of Prince William and Kate and I know they will raise them well. Kate grew up in a small town with a middle class family, and when William was growing up Princess Diana raised him differently by taking him everywhere she went, which got him to be very social and a public person just like his mother. I know Princess Diana would approve of Kate and she is very happy for the both of them.

La Roche Posay Products

When it comes to taking care of my skin, I probably have gone through a lot of different products in past few years, and there were some that were just okay, some that made my skin even worse, but my very recent skin care discovery is the best one yet! and will probably be my long term skin care product to use daily. The products I use are from LA ROCHE POSAY, it originated from France and it's the #1 Dermatologist recommended brand. You can find this product from Shoppers Drugmart, it is a little pricier than the other drugstore products, but trust me it works really well for me, it's amazing and I love it.

In the past year, I started to get break outs from time to time, like little pimples from here and there. I was really starting to wonder why?!? I never usually get pimples, and it was definitely something I was dreading because I wasn't really used to all the breakouts. I kept switching cleansers and moisturizers for a few months until the Aesthetician from Shoppers recommended me to try La Roche Posay, she said all these nice things about it, I was a little desperate so I actually gave it a try, and after just a week or so I started to see some changes. I was completely impressed on how my skin has changed, I never got breakouts anymore, it cleared away the pimple scars, and it kept my face looking soft and radiant. I've been using this product for almost a year now and I definitely recommend it.


This is the cleanser I use, it's called La Roche Posay Effaclar, they have a lot of different types of cleansers but Effaclar is more for my skin type. It creates foamy bubbles and washes away all my makeup.


After I wash my face, I use the Efflar toner. Just add a small squeeze into a cotton ball, and after wiping it all over your face, you get a tingly feeling that I love, and you can see on the cotton ball the excess dirt left on your face.


When I'm finished putting the toner on my face, I put the Lancome Genefique serum all over my face (as mentioned on blogs prior). Then I add a small amount of the Effaclar H moisturizer to my face. It keeps my face soft and radiant, because it is a hydrating moisturizer with lots of Vitamin C, and Vitamin C is so good for your face.

That is it for my daily skin routine at night, and then I hit my bed :) It is honestly really amazing for me waking up knowing that I wont get any pimples on my face and my skin just looks healthier.

Lancome Products

The first product I truly, truly love is the Lancome Genifique Serum, because one of the things a Woman must have-especially at this day and age is a Serum. You can apply this serum during your regular skincare routine, I do it after I put toner on my face. This product creates a more youthful looking skin because it creates more youth protein. As years go by and you get older and older, the lesser your face creates youth protein and that's how your face age, but with this serum you can maintain your younger looking skin. At the same time, this formula deeply moisturizes skin for a new level of comfort and softness and fixes skin imperfections. Just one little drop and ur good. I've been using this for almost a month and I love it. And trust me I would never recommend products here on my blog if it wasnt any good. :)


Lacome Genefique Serum

The next product that I really love and would never switch for any other product is the Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation. I've never had a foundation that could to this to my face ever!! It is truly amazing, and trust me I've been switching to so many different foundation for years. This is Lancome's first foundation that recreates the true natural light of perfect skin. Its unique weightless texture provides perfect buildable coverage with a bare sensation. Instantly, complexion appears lit-from-within, visibly flawless. It really leaves my skin looking naturally looking, and I don't need to set it with powder foundation.


Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation

The last product which is another favourite of mine is the Lancome Le Crayon Poudre, I used to do a lot of things to my eye brows such as using eye shadow, black eyeliner, etc. and I end up looking weird. Your eye brows are very important because it shapes your face, whatever you do to your eye brows can have a big impact to your face whether its bad or good. Ever since I started using is product my eye brows appear fabulously full. This dual-ended brow pencil and brush shape, shade and groom for a perfectly polished look every time. The silky-soft, long-wearing formula of this all-in-one-essential is easy to apply and smoothes on blendable color that always looks natural.

Note: I know Lancome products tend be expensive and arent affordable for many, but I always say it's best to use the best products out there for your face/body, because it'll help you in the long run.
